On the "Button"- Jenson flies to second victory this year

Jenson Button finally took his second victory this season yesterday at the legendary Spa circuit in Belgium. The brit clenched pole position which was more vital than ever as he managed to escape the  La Source hairpin unscaved as carnage ensued behind. Romain Grosjean seemingly cut across Jenson's fellow teammate Lewis Hamilton causing a massive incident taking out himself, championship leader Fernando Alonso, Lewis Hamilton and underdog Sergio Perez.
Whilst this seemed like a chaotic start and took out two of this years title contenders, it definitely spiced up the midfield.
Kimi Raikkonen and Michael Schumacher were particularly impressive, with Kimi taking a third position for Lotus and Mercedes driver Schumacher celebrated his 300th GP in style having some fantastic battles and bringing home some needed points for Mercedes in 7th position.
Toro Rosso also had a fantastic race with both drivers finishing 8th and 9th. along with the ever impressing Hulkenberg finishing in a great 4th position.
But amongst all the great racing, eau rouge overtaking and constant action came a sense of controversy.
Romain Grosjean has been presented with a one race ban following the incident at the start of the race. This I feel was way too harsh and a back of the grid penalty would be much more suitable. Penalties like that should be used if the attempt or crash was malicious, such as Nelson Piquet's Singapore incident back in 2009. Whilst Romain made a mistake which did put Fernando in jeopardy it was not malicious. They were lucky Alonso wasn't injured but that is the danger of racing and the risks you take. But the FIA showcased how much safety has improved since the events in 1994.
However it seems their decision is final and it will be Jerome D'ambrosio who has another shot at proving his worth in Formula 1, and with a competitive car who is to say he won't?
But we can call if, buts and maybe's all day long but at the end of the day Jenson Button drove a prefect race with no incidents or mistakes and thoroughly deserved to win. Whatever the thoughts may be on the Grosjean incident, it has certainly spiced up the race for the title!
